One night, I had some people over, and it was actually really successful. Mushrooms, Mortal Kombat, homemade oreo balls, “art” collaborations, and Milo and Otis. It’s the only get-together I know how to have.
Bright Eyes at the Ryman Auditorium made for the best St. Patrick’s Day ever.
Everything ever.
- Single again, thank God.
- Good friends, thank God.
- Bought Bonnaroo tickets.
- March 2011: day trip to Gatlinburg, Bright Eyes at the Ryman.
- My childhood pet passed away. She was fifteen years old, and had been my best friend since I was six years old.
- I’m about to go to work, and put in my two weeks notice. Right now, I’m working six days a week, on top of a fifteen hour course load and an internship. I’m exhausted all the time, and never have any time for myself or the people I care about. My plan is to not work for the rest of the school semester, and then try to start working again in the summer if they’ll let me. It’s a bittersweet feeling since I’ve gotten pretty close with most of the people I work with, but doing well in school will always be more important than pocket change.
- I met a boy at the Video Culture here in town. He really likes movies, cats, and, I’m pretty sure, me. There’s nothing else to say.
- Natalie Prass, Mickey Echo, Action, Heypenny.
- Melanie and I wore the same dress by sheer coincidence.
- Balloons. Everywhere balloons.
Also, I’m just gonna leave these here. All present circumstances aside, Dalton and I should get married someday.
Jekyll and Hyde is officially over, and I’m much sadder than I expected I would be. I never thought I would connect to these people the way I do, and it was such a great experience to work with them and get to know them over these past few months. I hate the whole ‘we’re one big, happy family’ cliche, but it certainly has felt that way.
